God works in mysterious ways, our first adopted son, Patteh, started our mission 16 years ago as the war in Sierra Leone was coming to an end. In 2021, that same Patteh found a bright kid full of energy and a infectious joy for life, a now 4 year old little boy, Abdul, lost and wondering the streets on a gold rainy day, looking for his parents. After notifying the police & fire station and after several frustrated attempts to find his family. Patteh brought little Abdul home, feed him cleaned him up and welcomed him to the Growing ABA Family as Patteh's little brother. Today Abdul’s hunger is to learn and still shares his infectious smile in between playing ball with his friends. The ABA Fund is passionate about worrying about what sports to play today as the thing in their hearts and minds instead of here to sleep and how to eat.
